If you’re juicing for reasons related to your health, try using dark green vegetables as the main ingredient for your juice. The juices should be 50 or 75% spinach, broccoli, chard, or other green for the best health benefits. The rest of your juice should be made up of fruits you like.

Vegetables your children won’t eat may be palatable to them in the form of a juice. There are lots of kids who aren’t crazy about vegetables. You can combine fruits and vegetables into one beverage that has a great taste, and thereby sneak vegetables into a child’s diet by obscuring the fact that they are consuming them through their drink.

When juicing for good health, try adding a handful of cranberries to your regular selection to help bladder or urinary tract problems. Start adding them the moment you feel there may be a problem.

If you are a diabetic or have high blood sugar, you should make juice from veggies until you ask your doctor how to go about it. Drinking fruit juice often causes blood sugar to spike. Keep track of the amount of fruit you add to your juices so you can regulate your sugar intake. Veggies can give you nutrients without undue risk.

Known carcinogen removing phytochemicals are found in juice from vegetables and fruits. Incorporate as many of these foods as you can into your juice recipes.

After juicing, consume your creation right away! Once the juice has been made, it begins losing nutrients. If you allow the juice to sit for a few days, you will not get as many of the beneficial vitamins and minerals. You should drink any juice you make as soon as it is done.

You can use vegetables and fruits that you do not really enjoy in your juices and add other ingredients to mask the taste. You should do this, so you get all of the nutrients you need. You can cover up a lot of unfavorable tastes with lemons and apples.

Include foods that are negative in calorie count to your juice regimen as often as you can to get maximum nutrition with minimum additional fat burning exercises. Additionally, be mindful of handling melons; melon juices is not particularly appetizing when combined with the juices of other fruits.
